7th. Annual Denial Boone Festival 5K Run/Walk

Dear Friend,

Believe it or not, it is almost time for the 7th. Annual Daniel Boone Festival 5K Fun Run/Walk (DBF 5K)sponsored by Kentucky Physical Therapy.  This year, the race will be held on Oct 8,2005.  Thanks to the participants and sponsors, the DBF 5K has grown tremendously.

The purpose of this event is to raise funds for two important causes> 1) the Scott Butler Scholarship and 2) The Knox County Cancer Patient Fund.  Scott Butler was an inspirational young man whose life ended prematurely as a result of Ataxia Telangiectasia , a rare neurological disorder.  Scott graduated from Lynn Camp High School.  He loved learning and strongly believed in education. The Knox County Cancer Patient Fund provides assistance to families residing in Knox County seeking cancer treatments with extra incidental" expenses which are not covered by Medicare or Medicaid. One hundred percent of all funds raised by Knox County Cancer Patient Fund go directly to the cancer patients.

This year our sponsors will be given the opportunity to place advertisement in a souvenir advertisement pamphlet.  The price of the advertisement range from 1/8 of a page $ 25.00 1/4 page $ 50.00 1/2 page $100.00  1 page $250.00  2 page lay out $500.00. Advertisements can consist of company logos (preferably business cards that can be easily composed to print. memoriam, congratulatory messages, and dedications.  The pamphlet will be distributed in (goody bags) for each race participant and throughout the DBF  5K  activities. in addition, the names of all sponsors and patrons will be published on the Daniel Boone Festival 5K Fun Run/Walk t-shirts. Goody bag items from your business are also welcome.
